Historic Owen’s Theatre Branson’s First Theatre. Built in 1935 by former Branson Mayor Jim Owen, this historic building has served as a movie house, live playhouse, church, honky tonk, auction house and meeting hall. It has been visited by Stars like Gene Autry, Charlton Heston and others. For the last 13 seasons, it has been the home of Elvis and the Superstars and now 6 other great shows including Breakfast with Mark Twain, Hank and Patsy Together Again, Elvis Sings Country, The Ladies of Motown, Branson Blues Late Night and Branson’s Ultimate Elvis Contest!

This is the interior of the 200 seat theatre as it looked in the late 1930’s. Although the seats have been replaced, the rustic rock walls still stand as a witness to the long rich history this building has seen. The "A" Frame cathedral ceilings provide a natural ambience to the acoustics as well as a dramatic architectural feature.
